The 6th Exeter (John Stocker) Scout Group was first registered on 23 October 1953.

In October 2013 we started the 60th anniversary celebrations with a fete at the headquarters on Saturday 5th October. We displayed items and photos to show what the group had got up to in the last 60 years and finished off with a campfire where we invested a new scout into the troop and awarded 3 Chief Scout Gold Awards.

As part of the celebrations we  created a badge which was worn on the uniform of members of the group for the year.
